About Me
Background
I was born and raised in Colorado and have been painting, drawing, and scribbling since I can remember, partly due to my family always encouraging me to explore my artistic abilities and partly due to an undying desire to create.
Growing up around art and such talented artists like my sister and late grandmother have given me a great appreciation for fine art; however, I have also found a passion in graphic design.
Why I love design
Coming From a fine art background I’ve found design is a culmination of everything I love about art and much more.
The possibilities in design are absolutely endless, from enhancing traditional artwork to building a whole website. One thing I have come to love about design is that each one is different and comes with its own set of unique problems and solutions. As a problem solver I take joy in finding the perfect solutions for every design.
Experience
I have been an artist my entire life, a graphic artist over half a decade and a freelance designer since 2018. I’ve worked with clients to help develop distinctive brands, logo designs, ad campaigns, print layouts, websites, custom illustrated items and almost anything else you can think of!
Education
I received my education at Pikes Peak State College and graduated in 2020.
I have an Associates of Applied Science in Multimedia Graphic Design. I am also certified in Illustration, Design to Print, Web Design, Digital Image and Foundations of Multimedia Graphic Design.
My education has helped me perfect my process and master industry leading applications like InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and content management systems such as WordPress. This has allowed me to reach a new level of creative freedom.
